We believe that God calls the church to be actively engaged in their communities. Here are some ways as a church we serve our community…
Once a year, we spend an evening as a church packaging food for the organization Take Away Hunger. The funds to purchase the needed ingredients for the meals is provided through a free will offering. Each year, we enjoy working together as a church body of all ages and providing thousands of meals for people in need.
We believe that God calls us to care for those who have less than we do. This is one way we can share God’s love with others.
One night during the winter, the church body meets at church to knot comforters. These comforters are then given to homeless shelters, rehab centers, and house fire victims.
We believe that God gives each of us gifts to use for His Glory and to bless others. By working together we are able to bless others with blankets.
