What We Believe
WE BELIEVE
Jesus Christ is Lord of His Church. This means that we seek His glory above everything.
The Church is the Body of Christ. This means that We want to be His representatives and share His love in practical ways. We commit to serving each other and our community with the diverse gifts that He has given us.
The Holy Spirit is living and active. This means we expect the Holy Spirit to move and we commit to being responsive to His leading.
The Bible is our authority. This means that we strive to order our lives according to Scripture.
The Gospel is good news for all people. This means that the Gospel must be shared with everyone.
God desires the worship of all nations. We commit to accepting God’s invitation to join Him in His mission to bring all nations to worship at His feet.
Our affiliation
Fairview Mennonite Church is part of a larger network of churches called Conservative Mennonite Conference (CMC). We are strongly committed to being faithful to Scripture. We believe that we should be found faithful in carrying out the Great Commission because it is God’s desire that all nations become worshipers of Him. We interpret Scripture through the lens Jesus, our Great Example.
As part of CMC, we hold to CMC’s Statement of Theology and Statement of Practice.
We look forward to our annual church conference and pastors conference events. Our young people have the opportunity to be discipled and prepared to be Kingdom workers at Rosedale Bible College. Fairview has the opportunity to invite the nations to worship Jesus through Rosedale Mennonite Missions.
